About Marston

Marston Blow is interested in a curvy way of being. Her work is powerful,                            sensuous, and spiritually inspired. Her Ceramic Singing Bowls are some of                                      the only clay bowls in the world with the ability to produce a cell                                           tingling harmonic tone that speaks to our hearts while quieting our                                                  minds. Her pottery and sculpture are bold, beautiful and seeks                                                       to inspire us to our natural, “curvy” selves.

“I grew up in the tidewater area of Virginia, got my
degree in video and film at Ohio University (where I
took some pottery courses), traveled for a year with
my brother through Europe and Turkey.

Upon return I moved to NYC, got my first “real” job with the Big Apple Circus
where I worked harder than I knew possible. For 7 years I was on the road –
traveling the US in my little green van, living at Arcosanti in Arizona,
working for circuses and production companies (Cirque du Soleil
included) and helping my parents build a house ~ before settling
          in Asheville in 1995.
